I know what you mean about Barnes & Noble... that one at Jack London Square was the cornerstone store over there... I'm sad to see this happen... I think its definitely a sign of the times... the days of huge supersized stores dont make much economical sense these days... in an effort to bring more appeal to the area... JLS stakeholders and the City of Oakland are working hand in hand to continue to build and grow the area... in keeping with former Mayor Jerry Brown's agenda to rebuild the downtown - JLS area...
